Thomas Morrissey received his B.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He focuses his practice on obtaining justice for victims of injury and death and their families.
Thomas is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Arkansas and Texas and is a regular inactive member in Nebraska.
Thomas is a member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association (SMBA), Missouri Association of Trail Attorneys (MATA) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ).
He was a 2004 and 2008 speaker at the SMBA annual PICLE, personal injury legal education, a 2005 speaker for the National Institute concerning uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, and a 2008 speaker at the Solo and Small Firm Conference “Sunrise CLE” (Continuing Legal Education). He also participated in a mock trial for the Ozarks Regional Mock Trial Competition as a judge.
Thomas is a proud father and resides in Springfield, Missouri, with his two children, Joshua and Elizabeth (Ellie).
B. Kyle Kent
Kyle Kent received his B.S. degree from Northeastern State University and his J.D. degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. He strives to advocate for people who have been wrongfully injured.
Kyle is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Washington.
He is a member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association (SMBA).
After graduating law school in 2017 and passing the bar that summer, Kyle began his legal career by accepting a position as an Assistant Public Defender for the Missouri Public Defender. After a year of gaining trial experience fighting for the rights of the indigent, Kyle joined The Morrissey Law Firm, P.C. team where he can now advocate for the rights of those who have been injured.
Kyle, in his spare time, enjoys spending time with his wife, Darya and their son, Christian.
Kelly attended Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut where she obtained her Associates Degree in Legal Studies and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Kelly began her career as a Paralegal in 2002. She has been with The Morrissey Law Firm since November, 2010.
In Connecticut, Kelly worked as a Paralegal handling Personal Injury and Family Law cases. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2008 where she worked as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal for approximately 2 years before moving to Missouri.
In addition to Paralegal work, Kelly also manages the day to day operations of the firm.
Kelly is a Paralegal Affiliate member of the American Association of Justice (AAJ).
Kelly resides in Spokane, Missouri with her husband Chris, son Rowen, and daughter CeCe.
Damaris attended Lincoln School of Commerce in Lincoln, Nebraska where she received her Associates in Paralegal Studies in 2003. She has worked as a paralegal since 2003 and has been with the Morrissey Law Firm since October 2018.
Damaris is also certified in Medical Terminology, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Pharmacy.
Damaris is affiliated with the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
Damaris lives in Willard, Missouri with her Husband Eric, sons O’Shay and Eli and her daughter Kiana.
Dena grew up in Springfield where she graduated from Hillcrest in 2005. She attended OTC and Drury University.
She’s been employed at The Morrissey Law Firm since May, 2013. She currently lives in Springfield with her German Shepherd Roxy.
Lisa was born and raised in the St. Louis area. She has lived in Springfield since June 2016 and is currently attending Missouri State University. She is working towards her Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Lisa has worked at The Morrissey Law Firm since June 2018. In her time away from work and school, Lisa enjoys spending her time traveling and being outdoors.
Ellie was born in Austin, Texas but raised in Springfield, Missouri. She currently is a Junior in high school and attends Ozarks Technical Community College. Ellie has been working at The Morrissey Law Firm since May of 2015. During her time away from school and work she enjoys drawing and spending time with her friends and family.
