Thomas Morrissey received his B.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He focuses his practice on obtaining justice for victims of injury and death and their families.
Thomas is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Arkansas and Texas and is a regular inactive member in Nebraska.
Thomas is a member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association (SMBA), Missouri Association of Trail Attorneys (MATA) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ).
He was a 2004 and 2008 speaker at the SMBA annual PICLE, personal injury legal education, a 2005 speaker for the National Institute concerning uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, and a 2008 speaker at the Solo and Small Firm Conference “Sunrise CLE” (Continuing Legal Education). He also participated in a mock trial for the Ozarks Regional Mock Trial Competition as a judge.
Thomas is a proud father and resides in Springfield, Missouri, with his two children, Joshua and Elizabeth (Ellie).
Kevin is a Southwest Missouri native from Marshfield who served in the Marines before going to law school. Kevin received a B.S. in History from Drury University and his Juris Doctorate from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While in law school, Kevin was a senior editor of the Regent Journal for Law and Public Policy and served as the Legal Research and Writing Coordinator for the Regent University Moot Court Board. Kevin was also selected to be a student member of the James Kent Inn of Courts.
After law school Kevin joined the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office where he served as a Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. Kevin prosecuted felony property cases and white collar crime cases and later worked in the Major Crimes Unit where he prosecuted serious drug cases. Kevin is member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. Kevin has participated as a guest lecturer at Drury University on the subject of torts and animal law.
Kevin resides in Springfield with his wife, Olivia, their daughter, Opal.
Kelly attended Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut where she obtained her Associates Degree in Legal Studies and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Kelly began her career as a Paralegal in 2002. She has been with The Morrissey Law Firm since November, 2010.
In Connecticut, Kelly worked as a Paralegal handling Personal Injury and Family Law cases. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2008 where she worked as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal for approximately 2 years before moving to Missouri.
In addition to Paralegal work, Kelly also manages the day to day operations of the firm.
Kelly is a Paralegal Affiliate member of the American Association of Justice (AAJ).
Kelly resides in Spokane, Missouri with her husband Chris, son Rowen, and daughter CeCe.
Dena grew up in Springfield where she graduated from Hillcrest in 2005. She attended OTC and Drury University.
She’s been employed at The Morrissey Law Firm since May, 2013. She currently lives in Springfield with her German Shepherd Roxy.
Bridgett was born and raised in Ava, Mo and is a 2005 alumni of Ava High School. She now own’s a Beef farm in Norwood Mo with her husband Brad, daughter Aaliyah and son Myson. She received her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies in June of 2016 from Kaplan University. Before joining Morrissey Law Firm in March of 2017, she was in Law Enforcement Administration for 7 years at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department. On her time away from work, she love’s spending time with her husband and family outdoors, watching her daughter barrel race and both kids playing sports. During quieter time she likes to read.
